Chirag is the key IT person in SWATI-Society for Women's Action and
Training Initiatives. Established in 1993, SWATI works works towards
bringing about women's socio-economic empowerment in a human rights
perspective on issues of violence against women, women's participation
in governance, Right to Information act, water and sanitation. They
mobilise and organise women and marginalised groups to gain develop
leadership and gain control over their lives and resources. SWATI has
organised women in to large scale collectives that work on issues of
gender and control over resources.
