Amee is a Programme Associate for advocacy at Pravah, a network of 150
organisations that work towards ensuring decentralised, gender
sensitive, sustainable self reliance in water and sanitation. Her
responsibility is to increase awareness among communities about
traditional sources of water and how they are affected by
industrialisation and mining in areas near agricultural lands. For
example: campaigns, dialogue with government from district level to
state level for change in policy, water quality testing campaigns,
formation and capacity building of committees at village level for
drinking water and sanitation.
