Mozilla Development Day,Bangalore

Mozilla,the team behind the popular web browser Firefox, and Mahiti Bangalore are organizing an informal developer-oriented conference in Bangalore on Saturday February 27, 2010.
The Mozilla DevDay will be an opportunity for developers, open source enthusiasts, and web aficionados who live in and around Bangalore, to meet Mozilla staff and learn about the Mozilla Project and its technologies. On Saturday February 27th 2010, Mozilla, Mahiti, and The Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) jointly hosted the first iteration of Mozilla Bangalore DevDay at the JRD Tata Auditorium (National Institute of Applied Studies). The event welcomed more than 300 plus delegates, a very big number for such an event.Delegates, including software developers, programmers, coders, open source enthusiasts and students, interacted with staff from Mozilla, Mahiti, and CIS to highlight the future of the open web and how each can contribute to it.
