Mahiti conducts 3 day custom training program on FOSS tools at CWDR,Chennai

Mahiti conducted a 3 day workshop on open source at the center for women's development and research(CWDR),Chennai.
All of the 16 participants who attended were women,including field staff and computer faculty.Hands on training on open office and firefox was given along with installation of Ubuntu linux Operating system,an alternative to windows.
Some of the systems at the center were migrated to ubuntu linux in dual boot configuration.
